When you say “Dutch” are you referring to the Germans or to people from Netherlands? Or were the Germans and their colonies all referred to as Dutch?

Netherlands. Unlike popular belief, the Dutch were actively involved in the Slave Trade. The Germans were still trying to reunify their states, so participated little in international ventures till the later part of the 19th century

Not only did you summarize the historical events in order; you did an amazing job explaining what had happened in different regions of the world at that time. When talking about the slave trades; authors tend to forget to mention the other regions. They only mention the regions thats had a big part in it but fail to mention other regions of the slave trade. Great job on pointing that out. Keep blogging and educating others on these topics. I had no idea Brazil had a huge part in this and now as the largest number of African population so once again good job on the explanation and explaining in clear details. 👏🏾👌🏽

Mister Fahrenheit thank you for learning and sharing the best truth you can too. Here's some research I put together on one of my research channels that is censored information on the Transatlantic Slave Trade, and much more. I put this research together best I can so far since 2007 as a veteran of the US Army Corps of Engineers. Part of my unit was sent to Djibouti, Africa for a few months back in 2003 for the "war on terror" which many people of course have learned is a "false flag" psyop scam by psyop scammers. Just like the 9/11 scam and weaponized anthrax and vaccine scam soon after. I received an Honorable medical discharge late in 2004.

As a Black American, I have already read the books and watched the movies you suggested. (And many more besides.) I am, therefore, surprised that so many Black people are uneducated on the topic of African slavery and the Diaspora of Black peoples around the world.

I want to learn about the transatlantic slave trade from the African side. Who, why, and did they know what terrors awaited the millions of Africans they traded into slavery?

Thank you.

Thank you. If you wish to be enlightened some more about the trade from the African side, I'll be more than happy to do so. People tend to forget the participation of African kings and warlords in the trade. You can email me with any question.
